Description
The Char-Broil Performance 3500 barbecue has a crank with which you can raise or lower the fuel grate and move it closer or further from the grate of the food you are cooking to have total control of the heat released .
The grill also has a bottom tray where all the ashes go. Just remove it and throw away the ashes.
It has a window that facilitates access to the area where the heat source, the charcoal, is located. Air intake is controlled from the sides of the barbecue.

PAINTING DEPARTMENT
The barbecue is painted with an anti-Catholic powder paint that is durable and resistant up to 300ºC. Grill owners sometimes make the mistake of filling the grill with too much charcoal, closing the lid and the temperature inside the grill soars. If the temperature inside the can exceeds 300°C (approximately), the paint may peel off. These warnings are in the manual, so they are not covered by warranty. However, if this happens to you, with some fine metal sandpaper and a spray of anti-heat paint you can quickly restore your grill.
Remember, it is not always necessary to lower the lid when cooking with Char-Broil grills. Only in very specific cases, like when you smoke, for example. To cook with the lid closed, the temperature must be very well controlled with the embers just right.
STORING THE GRILL
The grill is a very delicate grill.
The grill is made of enameled cast iron, solid, dimensionally stable and durable. When the grill is still hot, take the opportunity to scrape it with the wire brush and remove any remaining debris.
